Picking up the Pieces

Since my last post, I sat another 2 papers, only to fail one. Argh. No surprises I suppose, I was doing dismally in class... depression really hits all areas of one's life! Still, I was given another go at it, but I've got to pay for the resits, just like the previous paper I failed. That means my family back home will have to go through 2 months without money from me as I have to save for the resits... and with my incredible dad still unemployed, their only hope is for their siblings to help them out with food, rent and other assorted bills.

On another note, I've been listening to Jack Johnson again. First time I heard his songs was about 2/3 years ago, back in uni. Thought his songs were boring (was also listening to Mraz at about the same time). Now... I think there's a chilled out feel to his songs. I see beaches, palm trees, and sunshine whenever I hear them. Still, I think his songs are too similar to each other... hence, after about 4/5 tracks, I still get bored. But "Taylor" is pretty funky to play on the guitar.
