Some Good News

I'm flying out to Holland right after my exams! Unfortunately, it's a professional engagement (i.e. work)... and I don't suppose hanging out with my manager and in-charge over the weekend will be much fun. It's not like I can have a few 'shrooms with them, or pay the local night market a visit... Still, I guess it's pretty cool to get an overseas engagement so soon.

Oh, the awesome George R R Martin has finished the latest book in his excellent "Song of Ice and Fire" saga. I picked up the first of the series, "Game of Thrones" 7 years ago, not believing that anyone could top Tolkien in fantasy novels. George, however, is pretty damned good. Unfortunately, at the pace he's writing he might just die before he finishes the story... here's hoping that doesn't happen! Stay on the veggie diet George!
