Damn. Living alone isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Pros: Privacy. No morning bathroom queues. No nosey kids poking into my bedroom when I'm studying. I can put things where I want to. I can cook and eat as much or as little as I want, when I want.

But there are a helluva lot more cons.

Cons: Not much in the way of conversational opportunities... I've got a plant, but the conversation's kinda lopsided. Cooking... no, cooking's not so bad... but washing up is. Laundry... urgh. Place can get pretty messy if I'm not careful with my "putting things where I want to" urges. Pangs of loneliness can be pretty hard to ignore.

Which is why, unfortunately, my results have been hit. I've got a lot more on my plate now, and a lot less time to study or chill out. And I'm trying to pick my social life up again, which is quite difficult to do when you're stretched for cash and time.

Still waiting for a TV I ordered 3 weeks ago on Amazon. The logistics company (parcelforce) is a pain to deal with. They don't work past 5:30pm, they don't arrange specific delivery times, they don't answer your calls, and they take ages to reply to your emails. Worse, they don't work Saturdays unless you pay them to, and even when you agree, they don't arrive. And guess what... this is BUSINESS CLASS delivery. They are complete sh*te.

And broadband? They (Demon) don't deal with you via email (they just reply telling you to "CALL THEM"), and you can only call them on weekdays between 9-530. Which is a problem as I usually reach home at 6, and I can't call from college. ARGH!

Oh well. Life is great isn't it?
